VPG Tour Long An Championship 2019 - The first professional tournament of the VPG Tour system in the Southern region is taking place at West Lake golf course, Long An province from March 28-29. Vietnam's No. 1 golfer Tran Le Duy Nhat and many other leading professional golfers in the South have confirmed their participation in the tournament.

The first time VPG Tour comes to the Southern region

This is the third event of the VPG Tour system held since the beginning of 2019 and the first time taking place in Long An province as well as the Southern region.

This tournament has the participation of Tran Le Duy Nhat, the leading professional golfer in Vietnam and always a candidate for the championship. Tran Le Duy Nhat won the VPG BRG Kings Island 2018 and was runner-up at the VPG Tour - Heron Lake Championship earlier this year. The tournament also featured Kim Gwang Tae, Kang Seok and many Korean golfers.

West Lake is the first golf course in Long An province and the first to host a major golf event

After being absent from the VDPG Tour Trang An Championship last month, Tran Le Duy Nhat returned to compete this time. 
The appearance of Duy Nhat as well as many familiar faces of the southern golf village such as Nguyen Dinh Chau, Trinh Van Tho, Nguyen Tuan Kiet, Duong Quang Huy,…. will make the tournament more attractive.

- Location: West Lake Golf & Villas Club, Long An Province

- Time: March 28-29

- Total prize money: 100 million VND
- Date 27/03: Check-in at the course and practice. Welcome party at the course at 6:00 p.m.
- 28/03: First round, tee time from 8:00 a.m. Cut 15 players to compete in the final round.
- 29/03: Final round, tee time from 8:00 a.m.
- 2:00 p.m. on 29/03: Award ceremony at the course.
