Since 2019, the qualifying round and final round to select members for the Vietnamese team to participate in the World Finals will be organized by FLC Group - the leading unit in developing the Vietnamese golf movement.

This was confirmed by Mr. Tian Loo - Executive Director of WAGC and Mr. Nhu Van Hoan - General Director of FLC Biscom Company at the signing ceremony held at FLC Sam Son complex.

Accordingly, FLC Group will be the organizer for 3 consecutive years from 2019 - 2021 and the tournament will be called FLC World Amateur Golfers Championship Vietnam (FLC WAGC Championship Vietnam). There will be 2 qualifying rounds in the North and South regions, along with 1 national final round held to select 6 faces to represent Vietnam to participate in the World finals.

FLC Group has many advantages to successfully organize this tournament as it owns a series of international standard golf courses and hotels, along with experience in organizing major tournaments over the years, along with the support of the Vietnam Golf Association (VGA). These will help FLC create a certain impression, so that they can reach an agreement with WAGC to bring the World Finals to FLC Quang Binh Beach & Golf Resort in 2021.

According to the schedule announced by FLC Biscom, the Northern qualifying round will take place at FLC Sam Son Golf Links on 18/08/2019 and the final round will take place at FLC Ha Long Golf Club on 29/09/2019. FLC Group will sponsor the cost for the Vietnamese team to attend the WAGC final round in Malaysia in October 2019.
