Hoiana Shores Golf Club

To date, this unit has performed more than 280 golf courses in 40 countries, many of which have been chosen to host famous international tournaments. According to the architect, he was impressed by the magnificent natural scenery during his survey trip to Hoi An and is confident about the future of the project located next to one of the world's most famous tourist destinations. “The terrain here offers perfect contours,” Robert shared. “Along this stunning coastline, we will build a unique space and transform it into a novel destination. The fact that the golf course is located next to a famous location like Hoi An makes this project even more special.”

The Hoiana Shores golf course is expected to officially open in mid-2019. According to representatives of the investor, Hoi An South Development (Hoi An South Development Investment Co., Ltd.), this promising project will create a huge change in the domestic and international tourism situation.

“Hearing Robert Trent Jones's insights about the golf course and his proven capabilities and talent, we believe that this ambitious project will be as successful as expected,” said Steve Wolstenholme, CEO of Hoiana.

Hoiana is a complex tourist area stretching over 4km of coastline and about 1,000 hectares wide. The new tourist attraction will include a full range of amenities such as luxury hotels, entertainment areas, shopping malls, luxury apartments as well as a world-class golf course. Therefore, this place has many conditions to become a popular tourist destination in the near future.

“The decision to partner with RTJ II demonstrates the investor's aspiration to build a golf course that fully preserves the local identity,” revealed Ben Styles, Vice President of Hoiana Shores Golf Course. “Given the beauty of the terrain here, we selected our partner based on their talent and vision. The team from RTJ II is one of the few with experience from the golden age of golf course design. Through this collaboration, we want to bring unique experiences to Vietnam.”

In addition, this project also provides 350 job opportunities, mainly from the Golf Course Operation and Maintenance Training School established by Hoiana itself. This is the investor's commitment to developing human resources and creating jobs for local workers, contributing to solving the shortage of high-quality personnel in the area.
