The annual Swing for Life Award donates billions of dollars to charity.

The tournament will take place on August 31, 2016 at Thu Duc Golf Course with 288 professional and amateur golfers participating.

The organizers announced that through the tournament, they will raise one billion VND to build 500 clean water reservoirs for people in the mangrove areas of Binh Dai district and Thanh Phu, Ben Tre province. These are the localities that suffered the most severe damage, with people facing hardship due to the natural disaster.

“For many years, the Swing for Life award has been More than tens of billions of dong have been raised. This money has been directly used for meaningful, specific, practical purposes with a high level of community impact.
