Amber Hills Golf & Resort (formerly Yên Dũng Golf Course) is a 36-hole golf complex located in Bac Giang, approximately 50 minutes from Hanoi. Designed by Golfplan (USA), the course is renowned for its steep mountainous terrain and breathtaking valley views, offering a unique and highly challenging golf experience.
1. COURSE LAYOUT & REAL GOLFER REVIEWS
The course is divided into two 18-hole areas, each with its own characteristics. Overall reviews from the golfer community:
Scale: 36 holes, including the Hill Course and the Valley Course, which is currently not fully completed.
Difficulty: Rated as very challenging. Steep slopes, undulating fairways, and complex greens (with significant breaks) require golfers to calculate elevation and putting speed very precisely.
Scenery: Extremely impressive. Views from elevated tee boxes overlook the entire valley and lakes, creating a magnificent atmosphere. Review: Highly suitable for golfers who love playing on mountainous terrain.
Turf Quality: TifEagle grass on greens and Paspalum on fairways. Turf conditions are generally well maintained; however, the challenging greens are a key highlight that require extra caution.
Signature Hole: Hole No.13 Par 3 (Hill Course) is often considered the signature hole, featuring a downhill tee shot over water.
